1.At the Stylish Hound, I firmly believe that everyone deserves the highest level of privacy available. When you give The Stylish Hound your Name, Address, and Email, this information is only used to ensure the sales transaction can be completed. I will never re-sell, or re-distribute any of your private information to any party.
2.Current methods of payment for customers is either by, Credit Card, Cheque, or International Money order (if outside Canada). Please Note: Your credit card statement will show Canadas Leather Depot ( This is our parent company)
3.Shipping and Handling is based on an average cost of shipping to an address anywhere in North America. We currently ship all packages regular airmail to the US and International destinations and Express Post within Canada. Please allow 7-10 days for ship times to Canada and the US other countries will vary. Please note, at this time I am unable to provide tracking #’s for packages mailed outside of Canada, therefore I cannot be responsible for your package once we have mailed it.
4.At The Stylish Hound I do not mass produce collars. All items for sale are individually made by me and my assistants. I import trims from many different suppliers. Often the seller has a limited quantity available for purchasing, and as such, I have a limited number of collars available to sell to you. “Sold out” usually indicates the item is temporary sold out, and I expect more similar trim to arrive shortly. Occasionally a collar will sell out before I am able to post a sign, in this case I will contact you with options….Choosing another, waiting until trim of fabric is re-ordered or a refund.

I try to answer all e-mails in 1-2 business days but occasionally during our peak times it may be 4-5 days depending on the urgency of your question. Please note, e-mails coming in during the week end will not be answered until Monday.
6.EXCHANGES ARE ONLY GIVEN IN THE CASE OF DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED MERCHANDISE, AND AWARDED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS, WITHIN 14 DAYS OF INVOICE DATE. As unlikely as it is, should you receive your collar and find any defect in the construction/design, or stain, flaw, etc., please notify me via email and explain the problem. I’ll request that you then mail the collar back to me, at which point I will either exchange it for another of the same value, or I will issue you a credit.
Please note: Because every dog wears his collar differently and because of the vast range of fabrics we use I do not guarantee fabric against normal wear and tear but if you have a problem with stitching (as unlikely as it is) we will be happy to repair (a repair charge may apply)
A word about breakage: The chances of your collar breaking are slim to none. However, please examine the collar from time-to-time to ensure that nothing is breaking down or that the dog has not scratched or chewed weak spots into the webbing. With your collar order, you will receive instructions on how to care for your dog’s collar.
A word about buckle collars: I do not recommend buckle collars be used as tie out collars, these are to be used as walking and house collars only. Please note, although I use the most premium buckle closure I can find, I do not guarantee the buckles against breakage with wear. Please check your collar regularly for signs of wear, and replace accordingly.

Are NOT refundable or returnable…Because we are a small operation and custom cut each collar to order, please consider color, design and sizing carefully when placing you order.

7.Because of the large number of requests I receive for donations I am unable to meet all requests… however I do have a monthly quota that I fill. For your group to be considered please send an e-mail to thestylishhound@interbaun.com and we will try our best to accommodate.
8.My turnaround time varies depending on the time of year…..During the slower times of the year Jan -Mar I can usually get your collar made and in the mail in 1-5 days and then expect 5-9 business days in the mail. During peak months, you can expect 1-4 week delivery time. Occasionally your order can be held up while I wait for a shipment of materials (web, hardware, trim, fabric) but I will try my best to keep you informed.
